About

I completed my master's in 2018 within aluminium refining by using a reactive gas to remove Al4C3 from molten aluminium. Currently, I am a PhD candidate working with the Norwegian silicon industry. I'm investigating if it's possible to use methane and/or hydrogen. It is thought that these gasses have many desirable properties for producing silicon, and my project aims to gain an understanding for how these advantages can be realised.
