About Research

About

Education: Ying Luo holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, specializing in user-centered design and research. Her academic background combines design methodologies with perspectives from psychology and human factors.

Research Interests: Ying Luo is a PhD researcher in the NOTRAP project, focusing on the role of design in green energy transitions. Her research explores how design approaches and qualitative methods, such as netnography, can help understand people’s perceptions, narratives, and everyday practices related to emerging sustainable technologies.
