Sustainable Development Goals at IE
Sustainable Development Goals – IE
We are working to reach the Unitied Nations Sustainable Developments Goals (SDG) at our faculty.
We have ten years until 2030
– to achieve the United Nations SDGs.
Ten years – to eradicate poverty and hunger, to secure good health, education and equality, and to make sure everyone have pure water, clean energy, decent work, infrastructure and less inequality. We will contribute to sustainable cities and societies through responsible production and consumption, both locally and globally. Our goal is to put a halt to climate changes on land and in water, counteract social inequalities and contribute to peace and justice. To achieve all this, we have to cooperate.
It is an enormous and overwhelming task.
For this reason, we have established SDG@IE to work systematically at reaching these goals at the Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering. Our employees and students will know how their knowledge can contribute.

Programmes of study
Our bachelor, master and PhD studies will seek to incorporate the SDGs in their mission to educate outstanding graduates.
The students at IE should strive to be part of the solution and have awareness of how our disciplines can make a difference.
