In April 2024, the Department of Geosciences at NTNU, together with the RFC-Upscaling Consortium, will organize the 2nd International RFC Symposium.
We will host the event on April 9-11, 2024, in the beautiful city of Trondheim in Norway. The 2nd International RFC Symposium will be held in the Quality Hotel Prinsen. 

The 2nd International RFC Symposium will provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and insights on REFLUX Flotation Cell (RFC) – an emerging flotation technology of the XXI century. This symposium will feature presentations on the latest developments in RFC technology, including various theoretical and practical aspects, but will also provide an opportunity to collaborate and strengthen your professional network. 

The first day of the RFC Symposium will be the close out meeting for the RFC-Upscaling Consortium members only. The aim of the RFC-Upscaling project, co-funded by EIT RawMaterials, is to demonstrate the superior performance of the RFC technology for copper and iron ore. This is an important intermediate step towards full commercialization and deployment of the groundbreaking RFC technology by FLS together with the partners KGHM, LKAB, IVL, Solvay, Nouryon, HZDR and NTNU.
