About the project

This project aims to expand upon current knowledge concerned with assessment, grading and achievement in Physical education. Specifically, it makes use of an ecological approach to understand the influence of multiple interacting factors in shaping student behavior and achievement in PE.

Currently there is a need to address the following:

  1. the interacting influence of individual and environmental factors on student behvior and achievement.
  2. the interacting influence of individual and environmental factors on PE teachers` decision-making, assessment and grading process.
  3. conceptualization of how to understand achievement in PE from an ecological perspective.
