About the Department of Social Work
The Department of Social Work has some 80 employees who together make up a large and interdisciplinary academic environment with broad expertise in child welfare, social work and disability. The academic staff are responsible for teaching of the study programmes and they conduct research on a wide range of issues in the social sciences. The various research groups collaborate with other researchers nationally and internationally.
