NORWEL Research School in Social Work and Child Welfare

In collaboration with UiT The Arctic University of Norway, the Department of Social Work at NTNU manages the NORWEL Research School in Social Work and Child Welfare – the first research school of its kind in Norway. NORWEL supports PhD students in developing research that is highly relevant to policy and practice in social work and child welfare. The range of learning activities and networking opportunities that NORWEL offers provide a solid foundation for a further career in academia or in other positions that require a high level of expertise in this area. NORWEL’s academic community consists of both experienced and younger researchers who want to contribute to developing innovation-driven research of high quality.
