The Research Support Office provides advice and support to researchers from the Faculty of Engineering (NTNU), who are applying for EU funding.

What does the EU Research Support Office offer?

  • Help to find funding opportunities that fit your research interests and career stage
  • Hands on support with your grant application
  • Hands on support with the grant preparation stage, including consortium agreement management
  • Amendment processes 
  • Training and outreach within the Horizon Europe framework programme
  • Budgeting for Horizon Europe proposals
  • Financial follow-up during the project lifetime

Among our outreach activities are the talks and presentations listed below. In addition to these, we can offer other customized presentations/talks within the Horizone Europe framework program. If you are interessted, please inform us at least 1 month in advance by sending your request to researchsupport@iv.ntnu.no 

The request should contain the tiltle of the presentation and the potential audiences at your department/research group.

  • Approval of project from management (anchoring process at the department)

  • Start-up meeting

  • Organisation, timeline and distribution of work, including budget preparations

  • Access to the proposal for the EU Research Support Office in the Funding and 

  • Finalising budget and BOA-checklist

  • Finalise input in the Funding and Tenders portal

  • Quality control; is input in the Funding and Tenders portal up to date?

  • Collect necessary documents and budget from partners

  • Completion of the administrative forms in the Funding and Tenders portal for all consortium members

  • Final budget to be filled inn in the Funding and Tenders portal

  • Quality control of input in the Funding and Tenders portal

  • Final consistency and quality check of the whole proposal prior to submission
