Taking place at U1 Realfag, NTNU, the first event of Let’s talk Innovation invited Lars Reyes-Gjølme, from Trondheim Tech Port, presenting about Innovation District in Trondheim. He presented the upcoming seminar “Bridging the Gap”. Since innovation is very often the result of a joint effort originating from many different actors which are companies working together with public administrations, startups spinning out of academia, policymakers simplifying capital investing, and so on, thus it is important to connect those parties. Alexey Pavlov from NTNU IV IGP, He is the program manager of BRU21, NTNU’s Research and Innovation Program in Digital and Automation Solutions for the Oil and Gas Industry. One of the innovations is PERMEAN, PERMEability Anisotropy, Rapid downhole testing of permeability anisotropy, which helps the oil and gas industry.

We also have presenter from Propulse, a rocketry team that aims to give students hands-on experience with engineering projects. Pro Pulse members are self-organized, responsible for defining a mission, recruiting and organizing team members, engaging with industry and gathering support, in addition to going through the development process, carrying out tests and other necessary operations in order to achieve their goal.  Read more at https://www.propulsentnu.no/
