In this second meeting both speakers highlighted how NTNU Technology Transfer AS supports NTNU in innovation. TTO or NTNU Technology Transfer helps researchers come up with good solutions from ideas they developed. NTNU's own technology office assists transforming ingenious ideas and revolutionary solutions into commercial products and services together with the idea owner. Since 2003, TTO has received 1776 big and small ideas on the table. From these there have been 140 spin-offs and 135 licences. In 2018, TTO assessed around 150 ideas.
