Researcher School in RenewHydro

Research-based education

In RenewHydro, 36 PhD candidates will work across all disciplines within the hydropower system.
Collaboration between engineers, biologists, economists, and experts in markets and services
will be crucial for the future development of society—and we want this to be reflected in the sense of
community within the research center as well.

It is very important that the PhD candidates have a positive experience and become
familiar with the full breadth of the hydropower industry.
We also believe that a strong social and academic network contributes to a high completion rate
of doctoral degrees at the center, says Liv Randi Hultgreen, Center Director.

PhD Education in RenewHydro

PhD Education in RenewHydro

A large part of the research is carried out in laboratories through experiments and testing, which adds valuable content to the research projects and provides strong answers to the challenges RenewHydro aims to address. RenewHydro is affiliated with many different laboratories, each contributing expertise within their respective fields.

More information about the laboratories used in RenewHydro can be found on the laboratories page.

If you would like to learn more about our PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers, information is available on the PhD and Postdocs page. As a researcher in RenewHydro, you can also participate in our Researcher School.

If this is for a website, I can also help make the wording more web-friendly or more formal if needed.
