This programme is meant for Scandinavian speaking students.

Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is an umbrella term that includes all technologies for the collection, storing, manipulation and communication of information. ICT is in widespread use and essential within industry and commerce, education and research, and for private use. The computer engineer is sentral in the development and management of theses technologies. Together with users and other professionals the computer engineers will be sentral in the development of future ict-systems.

The computer engineering study at NTNU in Ålesund aim to give the student a solid theoretical foundation and skills to work in development, maintenance and marketing of ict-systems in industry and commerse. The program will also give a solid platform for further studies. The main goal is to educate engineers that combine theoretical and technical knowledge with practical skills, and is conscious and responsible for the interaction between human, technology, society and environment.

Language of instruction: Norwegian

You have to meet the Norwegian language requirements, or have a Scandinavian language as your mother tongue, if you want to apply to any of NTNU’s degree programmes taught in Norwegian.

The application deadline for the programme is April 15th. Students apply through Samordna Opptak.
