Political Science is the study of political activity within and between societies. The study programme includes problems related to governance at the local, national, and international level, as well as the political behaviour of individuals.
The One-Year Programme in Political Science will give you an introduction to the following fields:
- Public Policy Formation and Administration
- Political behaviour
- Comparative and International politics
- Research Methods in the Social Sciences
The One-Year Programme in Political Science comprises courses from the major in Political Science, and can form part of a bachelor's degree in Political Science or another programme of study in Social Sciences.
Admission
Language of instruction: Norwegian
You have to meet the Norwegian language requirements, or have a Scandinavian language as your mother tongue, if you want to apply to any of NTNU’s degree programmes taught in Norwegian.
The application deadline for the programme is April 15th. Students apply through Samordna Opptak.
