There is a need for more vocational teachers in the coming years. Education is becoming more important in business and organizations. This study makes you qualified as vocational teacher in Upper Secondary School as well as many other training positions, especially within business.

Vocational teacher education (three years) is an offer for people who have a craft certificate or the equivalent, and minimum two years of relevant work experience. The study programme educates teachers for work in several education programmes within Upper Secondary Education, and qualifies you to be a teacher within your subject.

Language of instruction: Norwegian

You have to meet the Norwegian language requirements, or have a Scandinavian language as your mother tongue, if you want to apply to any of NTNU’s degree programmes taught in Norwegian.

The application deadline for the programme is April 15th. Students apply through Samordna Opptak.
