Course content
The course will address colour, use of colour, plastic form, presentation.
Learning outcome
Further education in applied use of colour, materials in plastic form, presentation and communication.
Knowledge
Consolidation and development of skills from Gk1a and Gk1b, development of form and colour as an analytic tool
Skills
Applied forming, workshop skills and use of form and colour to develop and present an advanced physical product model
Competence
Ability to use the understanding of form and visual communication as an analytic tool in understanding a product and its context, and to generate and develop new or improved products, understanding of the relationship between function, aesthetics and communication
Learning methods and activities
Exercises, individual supervision. Lectures, seminars, and student colloquia. The course can be linked to the project work in Product Design 3 in different ways. The course is coordinated with the teaching in course TPD4115 Product Design 3 - IT. Lessons will be given in English if some international students follow the course.
