The module can be taken as a standalone, or as a practice based option for an internship based Master’s thesis in the UEP program. The candidate will in collaboration with the program staff identify a suitable practical internship for a minimum period of 12 weeks. This should be either between the 2 and 3 semesters (May-August), or at the beginning of the spring semester (Jan-April).

The internship can be with governmental bodies and municipalities, with developmental organisations/institutions working in the field of urban planning and development, or post-disaster reconstruction, which are among the potential employees of the graduates of the programme.
