Course content
Qualitative Method is introduced within Scientific perspectives. The subject focuses on approaches in qualitative studies where the researcher is part of developing the practice being studied (R&D activities). Participants will gain insight into designing research programmes, including all the phases, from writing the research question to the finished theses.
Learning outcome
The student shall have
- thorough knowledge on qualitative methodology and R&D activities
- skills in reading and assessing scientific work
- skills in planning and implementing qualitative research studies and R&D activities
- ability to critically reflect on practice and implement research studies, and present this verbally and in writing
Learning methods and activities
Instruction will be given as lectures, group work, presentations and student papers.
