Learning methods and activities
Lectures, seminars and placement period in a French school. All lectures and seminars are compulsory.
Distribution of teaching hours:
3 full hours x 6 weeks of lectures
Placement with personal tutoring for 10 weeks
Compulsory assignments
- Obligatory placement period in a French school
Further on evaluation
Assessment: Placement report (approx. 10 pages) and oral examination (approx. 20 minutes). The exam is weighted at 1/3 (placement report) and 2/3 (oral examination) respectively. Both parts of the exam are graded together. Students who fail must sit both parts again.

Admission to a programme of study is required:
French with Didactics (ÅFRANCAEN)
Recommended previous knowledge
Courses in French at undergraduate level (FRAC1000-level).
Required previous knowledge
Requires admission to the one-year programme in French with didactics in Caen
