About the course

Course content

The course applies to all students at the study programs MAEIENDOM, MFYSPL and UEP at the Department of Architecture and Planning. The course focuses on HSE (health, safety and environment) for students The course is an Internet based theoretical module that is compulsory for all students at the programs mentioned above.

Learning outcome

Students shall have the necessary knowledge about HSE to ensure their own and other people's safety during their study at NTNU. This includes knowledge of the HSE-concept and objectives for the HSE work. The course does not qualify for access to all AD-faculty workshops.

Learning methods and activities

The theoretical part of HSE will for most students consist of an online course.

Further on evaluation

The theoretical online course must be passed for the course to be approved.

If failed, the theoretical part must be taken again. This is scheduled after further agreement with the course responsible, but is normally re-scheduled to the next exam period.
