Course content
- Introduction to entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship theory
- Exploration of taking on the role as a change agent and an intrapreneur in healthcare
- Idea search and project development in one's organization
- Communication, project support and project management
Learning outcome
Participants will develop an understanding of entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship and change processes in the healthcare system. Through this course, participants will be able to recognize/create entrepreneurial opportunities in their organization, and implement a new project that will create new value.
On an individual level, participants will develop their own professional role and reflect on identity development in change work.
Learning methods and activities
Various digital educational offerings. The semester starts with a kick-off seminar that will be held online.
Students must be affiliated with an organization (relevant to the healthcare system) where the student can explore ideas as an intrapreneur, and subsequently implement a new, value-creating project.
The learning activities can include both individual work and group work.
Language of instruction: Norwegian.
Further on evaluation
The assessment method is the submission of a written assignment.
Required previous knowledge
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
- Employment in an organization relevant to healthcare.
