Course content

The course will provide an introduction to relevant methodological approaches, using several measuring instruments to assess physical activity, learning and group processes. Students will design, carry out and evaluate their own activity schemes, in terms of physical intensity, participant satisfaction and learning outcomes.

Learning outcome

Knowledge - The student will have: * practical and theoretical insight to the evaluation work * insight into different methodological approaches, observation (with and without video), written and oral feedback, and using other measures of physical activity (activity monitors, heart rate monitors, etc.)
Skills - Students will learn to evaluate specific training programs, with the starting point of the issue and use of relevant methods.

Learning methods and activities

3 hours of lectures and group discussion every week. Certain weeks are reserved for writing the assignment/paper.
The course is restricted and reserved for students in 5-year lecturer program.

Compulsory assignments

  • Participation on relevant seminars

Specific conditions

Limited admission to classes.

Exam registration requires that class registration is approved in the same semester. Compulsory activities from previous semester may be approved by the department.
