About the course
Course content
Students must theoretical and practical work, acquire basic knowledge of physical training, both in the short and long term. The course focuses on both the physical and athletic performance, as well as health consequences of various training schemes. Students will work on training theory and within different sports and in other contexts. Students will work with different age groups and groups with different objectives for skill development.
Learning outcome
Students will have basic knowledge of physical training, both in terms of performance development and a health perspective. Training theory contains knowledge about how physical, technical and tactical skills are developed. Students will have basic physiological, neurological, biomechanical, psychological and sociological knowledge to evaluate various principles of training theory. Students will understand the training theory in relation to different target groups, of different ages and different training contexts.

Lectures/seminars.
The course is restricted and reserved for students in 5-year lecturer program.
Compulsory assignments
- Alle kurs som organiseres i forbindelse med emnet er obligatoriske. Godkjent praksis.
