Course content

Themes are selected based on either given or self-elected projects.

Learning outcome

Knowledge: The candidate must:

  • Have good professional knowledge related to the chosen topic/problem.
  • Know about research and development work related to the chosen topic/problem.
  • Know the preparation of project plans and progress plans.

Skills: The candidate must be able to:

  • Apply previous knowledge and skills to solve a practical or theoretical problem.

General competence: The candidate must be able to:

  • Work together in a group to carry out project work.
  • Obtain on an independent basis necessary information to be able to carry out the project.
  • Document a project work in writing.
  • Present plans and results of the project work orally.
  • Reflect on own professional practice.

Learning methods and activities

Project work. Supervision.

Mandatory work requirements:

  • Project plan.
  • Oral presentation of the project.
  • Demonstration of finished product/project.
  • Individual reflection.
  • Co-author declaration.

All parts must be approved.

Further on evaluation

The grade is set based on assessment of the report, the scope/difficulty of the project and , chosen solutions and achieved results. Grade: Letter grades.

If not passed, a new project and all compulsory activities must be carried out again at the next ordinary completion of the course.

Admission to a programme of study is required:
Electrical Engineering (BIELEKTRO)

Required previous knowledge

Access to the course requires admission to the study program Bachelor in Electrical Engineering (BIELEKTRO).
