Assessment method: Portfolio examination prepared through the development of an exam portfolio.
The exam portfolio consists of four components presented in various multimodal formats. The portfolio as a whole should demonstrate both breadth and depth of subject knowledge and be grounded in relevant theory and empirical work related to the subject, the teaching profession, and knowledge development in physical education.
The components are developed both collaboratively and individually, and form part of seminars, teaching, and practical activities throughout the semester. The exam portfolio is submitted and assessed as a whole, with a graded mark (A-F). Individual components are not graded separately; however, all must be approved for the portfolio as a whole to be assessed.
The four mandatory components included in the course are considered coursework requirements and must be approved before the exam portfolio can be submitted. Varying degrees of supervision are provided during the work on these tasks. In addition, other coursework requirements may be included that are not directly linked to the exam portfolio. The coursework may be carried out individually or in groups and can include observations, participation in learning activities, written reports, or academic texts in written or multimodal formats. In addition to this, there is compulsory 80% participation.
The students can be assessed, required to take part in coursework and required to attend teaching related to interdisciplinary topics.
All mandatory coursework requirements must be approved for the student to be eligible for examination.
Detailed descriptions of the portfolio components and other mandatory coursework in the course will be made available to students at the start of the semester.
