Psychological Anthropology
About
About the course
Course content
The course aims to communicate a social anthropological perspective on the individual and society. Special emphasis will be put on showing how the behaviour and experience of the individual is related to the organization of society. The comprehension of various categories of society is displayed by examples that at the same time shed light on general legalities in human behaviour. This presupposes a contextual analysis where the relation between social qualifications and the individuals possibilities of development is made clear. Using basic behavioural analysis as a starting point, particular behavioural forms will be exemplified, with special emphasis on various forms of abuse of discretion in the treatment of people in every-day life.
