Course content

The master's thesis is an independent research or development work that is suitable for strengthening one's own and others' capacity in work with inclusive practice and special pedagogy in school.

The master's thesis must demonstrate the ability to design, initiate and carry out research or development work with clear relevance for the social pedagogical or special pedagogical subject areas. Furthermore, the thesis must document competence in documenting, analyzing and discussing a data material in the light of theoretical perspectives in education for social justice or special needs education. Emphasis is placed on the importance of the learning process in order to strengthen one's own competence as a teacher.
