Course content
The course is for Master's students who are given the right to replace Experts in team with another relevant Master's course.
This course is an independent study with a prescribed curriculum of ca. 650 pages. The subject contains no lectures.

Knowledge
The candidate has through self-study achieved a deeper understanding of a topic, theme or subject area of the student's own choice within the programme of study.
Learning methods and activities
Supervision, individually or in groups.
Compulsory assignments
- Approved reading list and research question
Further on evaluation
Assessment: A term paper of between 3000 and 4000 words, dependent on the discipline of study and in consultation with a supervisor.
Students should write the term paper in the target language of the degree programme to which they have been admitted.

Admission to a programme of study is required:
Comparative Literature (MALIT)
English (MENG)
French (MFRAN)
German (MTYSK)
Scandinavian Language and Literature (MNORD)
Required previous knowledge
Admission to one of the following Master's degree programmes: Comparative Literature, English, French, Scandinavian Language and Literature Studies, or German.
Course materials
The reading list is set up in collaboration with the student's supervisor, and must be approved by the department.
