Internship for Economists
About
About the course
Course content
The course is offered to students in the fourth and fifth years of the integrated master's program in economics. The course has a limited number of places and only approves internships with companies that the Department of Economics has a partnership agreement with.
In the course, the student will do independent work in an approved partner company and participate in collaborative tasks assigned by the company. The content of the work tasks is approved by the Department of Economics in consultation with the external company. By working for an extended period on a specific task in a company, the student will gain insight into practical problem-solving in a job situation. The internship can be useful for showcasing one's own competence, establishing networks, and making contact with employers in the field. The student is assigned a contact person in the company who is responsible for the student during the stay. This person will closely follow up with the student, ensuring that the student always has academically relevant tasks.
