About the course
Course content
TEGN2011 is based on TEGN1102, TEGN1106, TEGN1100 and TEGN1103. Students will work on developing their linguistic resources in Norwegian and in Norwegian Sign Language, and be made aware of how genre, register and style, for example, can be used in different situations. Discourse mapping will be introduced as a tool of analysis in linguistic communication. Both in the classroom and during practicum, students will be introduced to different ways that deaf/deaf blind/deafened people use their linguistic resources.
