Course content

Project management, Quality management, Life cycle analyzes, Group processes and group dynamics, Creation and writing of large (technical and process) reports (including obtaining literature, sources and references).

Learning outcome

Knowledge The candidate has knowledge of goal management, organization, project planning. The candidate has knowledge of quality management. The candidate has knowledge of interdisciplinary work, interaction methodology and group dynamics The candidate knows how to build large reports and how to obtain literature and use sources and references. Skills The candidate can use project planning to solve theoretical, technical and practical issues. The candidate can work interdisciplinary with other engineers in development processes in general and in interaction methods in particular. The candidate can analyze collaborative situations based on knowledge of group dynamics and group processes. The candidate should be able to build and write technical (and process) reports and obtain literature for them. General competence The candidate understands that interdisciplinarity is important for good system solutions The candidate has a sense of consequence The candidate has developed team properties The candidate should be able to evaluate sustainable solutions and the environment and social consequences through the use of life-cycle analyzes. The candidate can communicate project results in writing.

Lectures, self-study and project work in group.

Both the technical report and the process report must be approved in order to pass the course. Requirements for study law. Access to the course requires study law at Bachelor of Engineering, Chemistry, Bachelor of Engineering, Materials Technology or Bachelor of Engineering, Oil and Gas Technology, NTNU, Trondheim
