Course content
The specialization project may be based on the study profile Structural Engineering.
Learning outcome
Knowledge: How to specialize within a particular topic by using scientific methods. Skills: Information and theory review, as well as combining this with theoretical and practical knowledge. General competence: Complete a comprehensive project, including to prepare a plan with milestones, point out results and write a report based on existing norms.
Learning methods and activities
Independent project with guidance.
Oral presentation.
Further on evaluation
The course is graded using a letter grade, where the submitted written project report counts for 60% and the oral presentation counts for 40%. Both components must be passed.

Civil Engineering (MTBYGG)
Engineering and ICT (MTING)
Recommended previous knowledge
Exam in necessary courses required for the chosen topic of the specialization project.
Required previous knowledge
Admission is limited to students at NTNU's study programmes MTBYGG, MIBYGG, MTING, MTPROD and MIPROD.
