Culture and society are changing continuously, and career choice is something that everyone encounters several times throughout the life-span. This course highlights the meaning of work and learning for the human being and the society, and what thus comes into play through the life-span and in the many career choices humans make. The different phases the individual moves through throughout the life-span, generates new situations and challenges, which makes career a continuous process of interpretations and reconsiderations. This might for example involve roles, relationships and identity, and it can be connected to happenings, phases and transitions.
