About the course

Course content

The course contains topics within numerical models for hydraulic engineering and hydrology. The course will be designed for each individual student. Possible topics: Computational Fluid Dynamics, design of modelling systems, development and implementation of models in hydroinformatics.

Learning outcome

The course should give insight in selected topics from hydroinformatics applied to river engineering. The topics will be selected to cover the needs of each individual student.

Learning methods and activities

Seminar, exercises, project work.

Required previous knowledge

Students who wants to take topics in computational fluid dynamics have to have passed the course TVM4155 Numerical modelling and hydraulics
