MASTER'S DEGREE PROGRAMME 2 YEARS, TRONDHEIM

Master of Science in Didactics – Science Education

There will be no admission to this study programme in 2020/2021.

Master of Science in Didactics with specialization in Science Education is suited for teachers or teacher training students with the following teaching subjects: Natural science, physics, chemistry, biology, geology or technology and research. The study provides you with a specialization in the subject as well as its didactics. The study is a continuation of your teacher education and gives you a solid academic and didactic competency.

The master's study gives you the opportunity to specialize both in your subject and in your role as teacher and professional practitioner. The study will strengthen your qualifications with regard to teaching and other teaching related work in schools, university colleges, publishers, management and administration. In addition, the study qualifies for dissemination of the natural sciences in other connections, for instance in science centres and museums.
