A Master's degree in Ocean Resources will give you a solid basis for further careers, both nationally and internationally. The multidisciplinary background this programme offers is requested by both the fisheries- and aquaculture industry, other marine companies in the seafood cluster, other marine industries, as well as administrative authorities involved in management of marine environment and resources (In Norway, for example Miljødirektoratet, Fylkesmannen, and Fiskeridirektoratet). The students in MSc Ocean Resources have the option of meeting possible future employers through the “Bridgehead Havbruk”, which organise conferences and other meeting places for students, companies in the marine sector, public actors and supervisors.

Paid education: With a MSc degree you can choose among the different PhD programmes offered by the Faculty of natural sciences and technology.

The PhD programmes educate independent scientists on an international level in cooperation with both national and international research environments.
