WRAB 2023 - Conference theme: From early literacy learning to writing in professional life

About WRAB

The 2023 Writing Research Across Borders VI will be hosted by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway and held at Clarion Hotel and Congress Trondheim.
This conference will continue the successful work of the previous WRAB conferences.

18–22 February 2023 in Trondheim, Norway

This video will show you how great Trondheim and NTNU looks in February. In addition to an interesting conference, we will give you a magical experience in the snow, the light and in the almost freezing sea.

Trondheim municipality has as a gift given WRAB 2023 a organ concert in the medieval church Nidarosdomen/Nidaros Cathedral. The concert will take place in the afternoon at Saturday 18 February.

Welcome to Trondheim in 2023!

From early literacy learning to writing in professional life

From early literacy learning to writing in professional life

The theme for the conference is From early literacy learning to writing in professional life. We believe that it mirrors the research interest of WRAB, and we know that it captures the broadness of writing research at NTNU as well as in the Nordic countries.

We are convinced that Trondheim and NTNU could serve as a suitable arena for the 2023 WRAB. We are also convinced that hosting WRAB would further boost the writing research at NTNU, we also hope it will glue the researchers together, as well as strengthen and expanding the Nordic community of writing researchers.

Given the location, we also foresee a great interest from the larger region of northern Europe. And we are looking forward to presenting these environments to writing researchers from all over the world.
