Background and activities

I am a physiologist with a masters in zoophysiology from NTNU. On the 1st of January 2015 I started my position here at the university as a PhD candidate within the field of barophysiology where I will be studying the effects of hyperoxia and oxidative stress on the mitochondrial function. The project is financed by the Liaison Committee between the Central Norway Regional Health Authority (RHA) and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), and is in collaboration with the Department of Acute Medicine at St. Olavs Hospital and the Department of Physiology at the University of Split in Croatia.
