Course content

The course is project-based and consists of a project done in teams. The project teams are given a design task, and practice iterative design/redesign of user interfaces with prototyping and usability testing with video.

Learning outcome

The course gives knowledge of basic theory and current research related to user-centered design, interaction design and human-computer interaction. It also gives practical experience with user-centered design of GUIs.

Learning methods and activities

Lectures and project. Each team presents their work in a report and a presentation. Grading is team based, but individual grades can be given in special cases.

TDT4180 Human-Computer Interaction, or similar. Primiarily for Master students at IDI.
