Health and sustainability at The Big Challenge festival
On 16-19 June 2019, The Big Challenge science festival will be health by NTNU. This festival focus on the challenges we face in the future, with the goal of sharing knowledge and inspiring the next generation.
June 16 will be dedicated to the topic of Health and Sustainability. CHAIN leader, Terje Andreas Eikemo, will present 'How we can reduce the global health gap'. In his presentation, the leader of CHAIN will talk more about how NTNU and the Global Burden of Disease Study have joined forces together with UNICEF and the World Health Organization to quantify the impact of schools and education on health globally.
Debate on public health policy and social inequalities
Social inequalities are a big challenge, both here in Norway and around the world. What does public health research tell us? How can researchers, politicians, leaders, and the healthcare workforce reverse this trend?
