Dipendra J. Mandal

About

Dipendra Mandal has a B.E. (2010) and M.S. (2017) degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Kathmandu University, Nepal. He was an Erasmus Mundus exchange student at University Lumière Lyon 2, France, from 2017 to 2018. In 2023, he completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway, under the Marie Curie Fellowship as part of the CHANGE-ITN program.

Currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Colorlab, Department of Computer Science, NTNU, his research focuses on image processing and perception, particularly texture analysis. This includes designing and developing psychovisual studies to explore human texture perception and its correlation with machine-based analysis.
