Guro Korsnes Kristensen

Guro K Kristensen is professor in gender-, equality-, and diversity studies. She holds an MA in social anthropology (2003) and a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies of Culture, with a specific focus on gender (2011). Kristensen is Head of Department and project manager for the research project Norway-Japan: Bridging Research and Education in Gender Equality and Diversity.

Kristensen's main research areas are:

  • Reproduction and family planning
  • Family life and domestic- and carework
  • Human-machine relations and robotic welfare technology
