Guro Korsnes Kristensen

Guro K Kristensen is professor in gender-, equality-, and diversity studies. She holds an MA in social anthropology (2003) and a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies of Culture, with a specific focus on gender (2011). Kristensen is teaching on Master in Equality and Diversity and on PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies of Culture.

Currently, Kristensen is Deputy Head of Department and the leader of the study programme in Equality and Diversity.

 

Kristensen's main research areas are:

  • Gender and gender equality
  • Migration and integration
  • Reproduction and family planning
  • Family life and domestic- and carework
  • Human-machine relations and robotic welfare technology
