Background and activities

Guro Fanneløb Giskeødegård has a PhD in Medical Technology, and is working as a researcher and accociate professor at the K.G. Jebsen Center for Genetic Epidemiology. Her research is focused on metabolomics and other molecular analysis of tissue samples and biofluids from breast and prostate cancer patients, with a focus on data analysis of the multivariate biological data. The research goal is to identify biomarkers for improved diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
