About

Jiali He is a postdoctoral fellow in the Functional topological systems group at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. Her research is part of the ERC ATRONICS project (see what this is about on YouTube). It focuses on electronic property engineering in the ferroelectric material hexagonal ErMnO3 and aims to utilize ferroelectric domain walls for electronic signal control at the nanoscale. Throughout her work, different microscopy techniques are applied, such as Scanning Probe Microscopy (SPM) techniques and Focused Ion Beam/ Scanning Electron Microscopy (FIB/SEM).

Jiali He obtained her PhD degree in Material Science and Engineering in 2024 at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, NTNU, under the supervision of Professor Dennis Meier and Professor Sverre Selbach.

Jiali He obtained her master's and bachelor's degrees in Material Engineering and Material Physics, respectively, from Yunnan University in China.
