Karl Truong
About
My research focuses on using machine learning models to automatically detect events of interest in Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) data. These events can include rockfalls, traffic, whale vocalizations, and ship movements. Prior to NTNU, I worked for four years as a Data Scientist in various application domains.
Outside of academia, I play as a goalkeeper for a local football team on a weekly basis and enjoy badminton and table tennis.
