Klaus Ening
About
I started as a PhD candidate in August 2023 under the supervision of Ingrid Bouwer Utne and Ingrid Schjølberg. My work is on risk and uncertainty aware manipulation and control for robotic underwater inspection, maintenance and repair within the SAFESUB project.
I hold a master's degree in Automation Engineering from RWTH Aachen and a bachelor's degree in Business-Informatics from FH Gelsenkirchen. In addition to a part-time position as researcher in SINTEF's Robotics & Control group, I have various work experience in software development, robotics, autonomous driving, embedded systems, localisation, and trajectory planning.
