Background:

I studied materials and physics in Trondheim (NTH/NTNU) and finished my PhD (Doktoringeniør) in materials technology in 2001/2002 on applied research on the alumina raw material used to produce aluminium - by electrolysis at around 960 degrees C. I joined SINTEF in Oslo and continued to focus on functional materials, mostly as thin films applied in silicon-based sensors and actuators (MEMS- micro electro-mechanical systems), including project and systems architecture and management. I joined NTNU in Gjøvik, in 2018 and live in Lillehammer with my familiy. More background and updated network and interests also on LinkedIn. See link above.
