I’m a PhD Candidate at the Centre for Gender Research, exploring reproductive health apps (RHAs) and affects on contraceptive choices, sexual habits, reproductive awareness, and equality among Norwegian app users. I’m part of the research groups Gender, Science, and Technology and Biopolitics and Reproduction.

My background is in Gender Studies, where I have specialised in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Film and Representation, at Uppsala University (Sweden) and University of Sussex (UK). 

I enjoy exploring topics that some may consider sensitive or private, especially in relation underlying structures of power, norms and medical hierarchies. My master thesis examined experiences of Swedish healthcare in connection to maternal birth injuries, and in my bachelor thesis I analysed representations of orgasms in feature film.
