Teaching
I´m concerned with the pinciples of work integrated learning. This triggers the need of collaboration and interaction with both regional and national businesses in an educational contaxt. This inculudes both workplace practice and practical projects.
Continuing and further education
Department of design decided on fall 2024 to increase the focus on continuing and further education. I am a part of this team, being responsible of running and developing our portfolio.
PhD work
Side by side beeing a lecturer, I'm doing my PhD exploring the possibilities and challenges concerning cooperation between business and higher design education. My focus is within different learning activities in work integrated learning. Research questions of relevans to this work are:

What methods, tool and results exists involving industry/PS in different fields of collaborative work within an educational context?

How do design academics and industry partners value those cooperative relations within education, and how do they invest in and value those relations?

What organizational and cultural change will have an effect to increase the success of such a collaboration?

Given a set of different ways for externals to contribute to the quality and relevance in the design study programs, what contributions would have the highest potential to provide results for the stakeholders?
