Course content
In the course Internship and Entrepreneurship, students have the opportunity to choose two different directions. They can either choose to search for companies where they can carry out design practice, or they can choose whether they want to work with design-driven innovation and entrepreneurship. Large parts of the learning outcomes will be the same regardless of the chosen direction, but the process and implementation will be somewhat different.
Internship is based on students finding and making an agreement with a company to carry out 300 working hours with a presence in the company. Students are responsible for designing an application, CV and portfolio that will be used in the work of applying for companies.
Entrepreneurship is based on design-driven innovation and design as a growth driver. Students will become familiar with theory, tools and methods for idea development, business model development, business planning, networking, product development, strategy and management. Knowledge and skills can be applied both through student-driven cases and through real cases from companies.
