RESISTANT – Research Symposium on Information Security, Cryptography, and Networks

RESISTANT is a national initiative focused on research and education in information security, cryptography, and networked systems. It brings together universities, research institutes, industry, and public sector partners across Norway to strengthen collaboration and advance cybersecurity expertise.

The consortium aims to educate and train the next generation of cybersecurity experts by combining strong theoretical foundations with practical skills. Through courses, seminars, and networking opportunities, RESISTANT supports PhD candidates, promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, and addresses key societal challenges.

The RESISTANT symposium serves as an annual national forum for disseminating research and fostering knowledge exchange. It brings together PhD students, researchers, industry professionals, and public sector representatives for lectures, discussions, and interactive sessions on topics such as human-centered security, privacy-preserving technologies, cryptographic engineering, and resilient network systems.
